A boy and a girl named Dylan and Sandra were just best friends who played little impromptu songs in a basement church café. At a New Years Eve party in 2012, they shared their unspoken love for one another during a slow dance. Nearly 12 months later they got married, and soon after, they ventured to New Zealand. The experience was a great adventure, greater than they could have imagined life could be. They traipsed grand mountainscapes, got their campervan stuck in the snow one pitch-black dark night, shivered cold together and then woke up facing crystal blue Lake Wanaka, and discovered the best butter chicken in the universe at the base of a Queenstown mountain. New Zealand represented more than a trip. It told of the kind of adventure that comes with marrying your best friend. A lifetime of exploration and fun, extreme joys, challenging lows, but always making it through, hand-in-hand. A reminder that life adventures are not meant to be a NEW or rare experience, but rather a way of life that knits us closer than we could ever imagine. And so Zealand was born. With a love for documenting others' adventures beginning with Dylan & Sandra Photography, Dylan and Sandra expanded with a team of handpicked talent with a passion for one thing: celebrating the gift that is true love.
